What to expect? A focused, hands-on session in three parts: a short introduction to how data and AI are shaping modern football, a live World Cup case study that you will solve independently, and a final pitch where you present your insights using an AI-powered tool.
No long presentations. No theory without practice. You will leave with a concrete project, new analytical skills, and a digital certificate.

Every World Cup brings together the best national teams in the world on the same stage, under the same pressure, with millions watching. Yet the difference between winning and losing often comes down to a handful of measurable decisions, patterns in the data that analysts can spot before they become obvious on the pitch.
No prior experience in football analytics or data science required. Just curiosity, and the tools to uncover the stories hidden behind the numbers.
The challenge will remain a surprise until the session begins. What we can say: by the end of the 90 minutes, you will have built a data-driven analysis you can showcase, and gained a practical understanding of how AI is transforming decision-making in one of the world's biggest sporting events.
